TeploTie is a range of masonry wall ties made of a composite material based on basalt fibre. The material is;

• Corrosion and alkali resistant
• Stronger and lighter than stainless steel
• 20 times less thermally conductive than stainless steel

TeploTie improves the thermal insulation of walls by removing the thermal bridges created by stainless steel wall ties. Teplo Tie is an innovation which helps clients, architects and constructors to improve the energy efficiency of their buildings and therefore reduce the CO₂ emissions of their buildings through a significant improvement in the U Value of masonry walls. U value reductions of up to 10% have been calculated for traditional cavity sizes (50mm – 100mm). The U Value reduction is even more significant in wide 150+mm cavities.

TeploTie is available for use in cavities of 50mm to 300mm in width.

TeploTie has a BBA certificate and is approved for use by the NHBC.
