Information
Masonry cavity wall tie with engineered safety end to maximise bond.
Steel wall ties act as a thermal bridge in masonry cavity walls. The award-winning Teplo range of thermally insulating wall ties solve this problem. The range is manufactured from pultruded basalt fibers, an Advanced Composite Material which has a thermal conductivity of only 0.7W/mK which is over 70 times less than steel and 20 times less than stainless steel.
Developed for masonry to masonry cavity walls, the Teplo-BF features large safety ends that significantly improve build-ability and mortar bond strength.

Ancon Teplo-BFL-Basalt Fibre Frame Cramps
The Ancon Teplo-BFL-Tie is ideal where a low thermal conductivity restraint fixing is required between a masonry outer leaf and an in-situ structure.
It offers the same thermal benefits as a Teplo-BF cavity wall tie, with an additional stainless steel upstand which is mechanically fixed to one end of the tie to allow for a secondary fixing. The range has been independently tested and is BBA approved; a British Board of Agrément certificate is available to download online.
